Corner House is committed to improving the lives of all youth, helping each young man and woman to achieve maximum potential. The Princeton Youth Project reaches out to the most disenfranchised adolescents in our community. The Outreach Coordinator oversees the project and works directly with the youth one-on-one to empower them and provide opportunities for them to refocus their energies toward new and healthy pursuits. We are their advocates as they work to build a positive self-image, stay in school, and pursue successful careers.

PYP meets youth "where they are at," including at Corner House prevention and treatment programs, recreation activities, parks, and in the Princeton town square. Members meet one-on-one with the Coordinator on an on-going basis, and there are weekly group meetings for in-depth discussions and socializing. Periodic "fun only" activities are also an important element of the PYP program.
