Corner House treatment programs serve hundreds of individuals yearly through our customized outpatient and intensive outpatient programs. In our treatment programs, we are also seeing the impact of the current opiate epidemic sweeping the nation and our community. This year Corner House Behavioral Health faced a turning point. For the first time since we opened our doors in 1972 and in the midst of this opiate epidemic and the government funding shifts, we have been forced to turn away individuals due to their lack of financial resources. This decision was difficult to make in light of the escalating demands for our services.

In collaboration with the DiCanio Family, the “John DiCanio Fund for Addiction Treatment” will allow Corner House Behavioral Health to establish a fund that will subsidize the cost of treatment for those individuals who do not have the resources to afford the cost of treatment.
